Vineyard:
Godello small plots located in Carracedo, Valtuille and Villafranca del Bierzo, the average year of the vineyard is 20 years. Doña Blanca comes from old vines in cup shape collected at Espanillo, Carracedo and Valtuille.
Soil:
Due to the different areas of vineyard soil type is extremely diverse, calcareous-clay at Valtuille and Villafranca, stony in Carracedo and slate in Espanillo.
Elaboration:
After a manual harvest in boxes, the grape is selected and passes through a pneumatic press. The juice is fermented at low temperature, the fine lees are selected to age for 5 months with weekly batonnage. The bottling is done with a slight clarification and filtration.
